This policy explains how Goodlife Concessions LLC, doing business as Goodlife Specialty Popcorn (“Goodlife”), handles personal information through goodlifepopcorn.com and related customer interactions. It is written for the Goodlife services currently in use and should be updated when those services materially change.
Information Goodlife Collects
Goodlife collects information customers choose to provide and limited technical information needed to operate and improve the site.
- Contact information: name, mobile number, email address, and communication preferences.
- Drop List and waitlist information: requested flavors or products, interests, text/email selections, consent records, and related notes.
- Inquiry information: organization or event details, dates, estimated quantities, budgets, locations, and other information submitted for gifting, fundraising, events, or partnerships.
- Order and fulfillment information: products, quantities, pickup or shipping selection, shipping address, and transaction/order details when online commerce is used.
- Website activity: if analytics is accepted, information about visits and interactions such as pages or sections viewed, device/browser information, referral source, and approximate location derived from network information.
- On-device information: the site may use browser storage for the shopping bag, page state, dismissed signup prompts, and privacy choices. This information is generally stored on the visitor’s own device.
How Information Is Used
Information may be used to provide and fulfill orders, respond to inquiries, manage pickup or shipping, communicate about requested products, send marketing messages when permission has been given, understand site performance, prevent abuse or fraud, maintain records, and comply with legal obligations.
Text Messages and Email
Goodlife asks customers to choose whether they want text messages, email, or both. Marketing text consent is separate from providing a phone number and is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency may vary and message/data rates may apply. Text recipients can reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Marketing email recipients may use the unsubscribe method provided in the message or contact Goodlife.
Cookies, Browser Storage, and Analytics
Necessary browser storage supports core functions such as the shopping bag, saved preferences, and privacy choices. Goodlife currently uses Google Analytics only after analytics permission is given through the site’s privacy choices. Rejecting non-essential technology keeps analytics off. The “Privacy / Cookie Choices” link in the site footer can be used to review or change that choice.
Goodlife does not currently run cross-site advertising or marketing pixels on the website. If that changes materially, the consent experience and this policy should be updated before that technology is activated.
Service Providers
Goodlife uses service providers to operate the business and website. These can include Netlify for website hosting, functions, and form submissions; Google Analytics when analytics permission is given; Toast for commerce, payment, and point-of-sale functions; and Shippo for shipping and fulfillment functions. Service providers receive information as needed to perform their services for Goodlife.
Full payment-card numbers should be handled by the payment provider rather than stored in Goodlife’s website or Flavor Board database.
Social Media and External Links
The site links to services such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Google Maps. Visiting those services is subject to their own privacy practices. Goodlife does not control how those external services process information after a customer leaves the Goodlife site.
Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
Goodlife does not currently sell personal information and does not currently use the website for cross-site targeted advertising. Privacy choices remain available so customers can control optional analytics and so the site can accommodate future privacy requirements without hiding those controls.
Retention and Data Minimization
Goodlife aims to collect only information reasonably needed for the purpose described. Personal information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for customer service, fulfillment, consent records, business records, security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations, and is deleted or de-identified when it is no longer reasonably needed.
Security
Goodlife uses administrative and technical safeguards intended to reduce unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Privileged credentials and API secrets should be kept in server-side environment variables or other protected systems rather than exposed in public browser code.
Children
The Goodlife website is intended for a general audience and is not designed to collect personal information from children under 13. If Goodlife learns that such information was submitted without appropriate authorization, it will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
Privacy Rights and Requests
Depending on where a customer lives and which law applies, privacy rights may include requesting access to personal information, correcting inaccurate information, requesting deletion, obtaining a copy, or opting out of certain uses. Goodlife may need to verify a request before acting on it.
