SMS Consent Documentation

Goodlife SMS Opt-In

This page documents the public SMS enrollment flow used by Goodlife Concessions LLC, doing business as Goodlife Specialty Popcorn, through the “Join the Flavor Drop List” / “Catch the Next Drop” forms.

How customers opt in

Customers provide a mobile number, select Text me, and then affirmatively check a separate SMS consent checkbox. The SMS consent checkbox is initially unchecked. Customers opt in to SMS messages only by affirmatively checking this box.

Selecting “Text me” alone does not constitute SMS consent. The separate SMS consent checkbox must also be checked before SMS enrollment can proceed.

Consent form

The form displays the mobile-number field, the Text me selection, the separate unchecked SMS consent checkbox, and the full disclosure immediately with the consent control.

Goodlife Join the Flavor Drop List form showing the mobile number field, Text me selection, separate unchecked SMS consent checkbox, and SMS disclosure.

Disclosure shown with the checkbox:

“By selecting Text me and checking this box, you agree to receive recurring automated informational and marketing texts from Goodlife Specialty Popcorn at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out; HELP for help.”

Consent requirement

The SMS enrollment flow requires affirmative consent. If a customer selects Text me without confirming the separate SMS consent checkbox, the form does not permit SMS enrollment to proceed. The consent state, consent version, and consent timestamp are included with the enrollment submission.
